Learning activity - Nicosia, Cyprus

The first training activity took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, at the DIONE headquarters, from 08 to 12 July 2019. Experts from each partner organization in the project participated in this activity.

The training course offered the group of participants the opportunity to benefit from a multidisciplinary approach. Participatory methods have increased the exchange of good practices. The experts of the partner institutions will attend a short-term training session of the staff. This training session helped to promote the exchange of good practices for improving the participants' knowledge regarding the phenomenon of violence at European level.

The objectives of the meeting: - Familiarity with the main concepts and notions regarding the phenomenon of violence; - how violent behavior develops; - the correlation between the increased violence in schools and the poor social inclusion of children and adolescents; - identification of risk factors in adolescents; - identification of the psychological mechanisms involved in the phenomenon of violence. The methodology used was: intensified conference, debate, cooperative learning, role play, simulation. During the five days of the course there were 5 training sessions, one daily water lasting 8 hours a day. Each session was divided into sequences of teaching, practice, evaluation, conclusions and capitalization of training.

Learning activity - Bucharest, Romania

The second training activity took place in Bucharest, Romania, at the headquarters of Zivac Group Central, between August 3 and 7, 2020. This activity was attended by experts from each partner organization in the project.
The training course offered the group of participants the opportunity to benefit from a multidisciplinary approach. Participatory methods have increased the exchange of good practices. Experts from partner institutions participated in a short-term staff training session. This training session helped to promote the exchange of good practices in order to improve participants' knowledge of the phenomenon of violence at European level.
Objectives of the meeting: - What is violence ?; - the way in which a violent behavior develops; - identifying the cognitive mechanisms involved in the phenomenon of violence; - identifying the psychic mechanisms involved in the phenomenon of violence. The methodology used was: intensified conference, debate, cooperative learning, role play, simulation. During the five days of the course, 5 training sessions took place, daily with a duration of 8 hours per day. Each session was divided into teaching sequences, practice, evaluation, conclusions and capitalization of the training.
